Ingredients

  • 125 ml (½ cup) white chia seeds
  • 125 ml (½ cup) sesame seeds
  • 60 ml (¼ cup) maple syrup

Preparation

  1. Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. In a small skillet heated over medium-high heat, add the sesame seeds and chia seeds. Toast, stirring constantly, for 3 to 5 minutes, until the seeds begin to brown.
  3. Add the maple syrup and stir well to coat the seeds. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring frequently, until the mixture becomes sticky.
  4. Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly using a spatula. Cover with another sheet of parchment paper and flatten using a rolling pin.
