Ingredients
- 1 L (4 cups) of frozen strawberries*
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) of maple syrup
- 7.5 ml (½ tbsp) of vanilla extract
Preparation
- In a saucepan, place the strawberries and maple syrup.
- Heat over medium heat and bring to a boil.
- Reduce to low heat and let simmer for 8 to 10 minutes, until the strawberries are tender. Add the vanilla extract.
- Using a blender, purée until smooth.
- Let cool slightly before serving or transfer to the refrigerator in airtight containers.

Keeps for 5 days in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
