Ingredients
- 1 head of cauliflower (about 4 cups), rinsed and cut into florets
- 60 ml (¼ cup) cornstarch
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) nutritional yeast
- 2.5 ml (½ tsp) garlic powder
- 2.5 ml (½ tsp) paprika
- 2.5 ml (½ tsp) onion powder
- 1.25 ml (¼ tsp) ground black pepper
- 45 ml (3 tbsp) water
- 60 ml (¼ cup) Buffalo hot sauce (Frank’s RedHot–style)
- Fresh parsley, chopped, to taste (optional)
Preparation
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 °F (200 °C).
- In a large bowl, mix the cornstarch, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, and pepper. Add the water and whisk until smooth.
- Add the cauliflower florets and stir to coat well.
- Place the cauliflower in the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes, stirring halfway through.
- Transfer the cauliflower back to the bowl, add the Buffalo hot sauce, and mix to coat well.
- Return the cauliflower to the air fryer and continue cooking for 5 to 10 minutes, or until very crispy.
- Garnish with fresh parsley when serving, if desired.

Keeps for 3 days in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
