Ingredients
- 4 boneless chicken breasts, halved lengthwise
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) fresh cilantro, finely chopped
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) fresh ginger, finely chopped (or pickled)
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) plain 2% yogurt
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) honey
- 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
- Pepper and salt, to taste
Preparation
- In a large airtight container or a resealable plastic bag (such as Ziploc), combine the yogurt, cilantro, ginger, honey and garlic. Season to taste.
- Add the chicken pieces and coat well with the marinade.
- Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, ideally 2 hours.
- Preheat the BBQ to medium-high heat (maximum 200 °C / 400 °F).
- Lightly oil the grill. Grill the chicken for 5 to 7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 74 °C (165 °F).
- Serve immediately.

Keeps for 3 days in the refrigerator or 3 months in the freezer.
