Why Do We Request Your Credit Card When Making an Appointment?

Over the years, we have noticed a concerning trend: many clients book time slots but fail to show up for their appointments. This issue has a significant impact on our professionals and our ability to provide healthcare services efficiently.

To address this problem and enhance the experience for our clientele, we have implemented a policy that requires providing a credit card at the time of booking an appointment. We understand that this may raise concerns, which is why we want to reassure you and explain the reasons behind this policy.

By requesting your credit card, we ensure that clients who book an appointment are committed to the process. The policy aims to reduce the number of missed appointments, allowing more clients to benefit from our services. A missed appointment prevents us from providing services to someone else in need. This policy also enables us to ensure that our professionals are fairly compensated for their time and expertise, in addition to facilitating and expediting the payment process during the appointment.

Protection of Your Personal Information

The security of our clients' personal information is of utmost importance. ÉquipeNutrition utilizes a secure payment system used by numerous major companies. Once we enter your payment information into the system, it becomes impossible to access that data again. Rest assured that your credit card details are stored securely and in compliance with the strictest standards of online payment security. Only your nutritionist is authorized to process a payment on your card, and this is done solely after your appointment.

Each month, over 500 new clients place their trust in us and schedule appointments. These collaborations reflect the trust that these institutions have in our team, which consists of over 50 nutritionists/our-team who are members of the Ordre des diététistes-nutritionnistes du Québec (ODNQ).
