Ingredients
- 45 ml (3 tbsp) nutritional yeast flakes
- 2 ml (1/2 tsp) garlic powder
- 2 ml (1/2 tsp) hot pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 500 g (1 lb) fresh asparagus, trimmed, washed and not dried*
- 1 lemon, quartered
Note: *Asparagus should be slightly wet so that the mixture sticks.
Preparation
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix all ingredients except asparagus and lemons.
- Add asparagus and gently stir to coat evenly.
- Spray oil on the air fryer basket tray and place the asparagus in a single layer. Spray a little oil again.
- Cook for 6 to 8 minutes or until tender and lightly browned.
- Serve with lemon wedges.
