Trista Chan is a Registered Dietitian in Toronto who is passionate about supporting clients to reach their full potential through the power of good food and health. She believes that true nourishment isn’t just planning your next meal - it’s implementing lifestyle changes that are sustainable and healing for multiple dimensions of health: physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual.
She has completed a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree and graduate certificate in Nutrition, Dietetics and Health Promotion. As a clinician, she has experience in diverse practice settings, including community health centres, private health clinics, hospitals, and non-profit organisations. She is particularly passionate about supporting women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, prediabetes, maternal nutrition, and plant-based nutrition.
Trista practices with an equity and diversity lens. She acknowledges and addresses the systemic barriers faced by certain populations, and incorporates cultural foods and traditions into her clients’ nutrition plans. She also practices with an intuitive eating and compassion-based approach, believing a healthier relationship with food is foundational to good health.
