  1. In a 500 mL (2 cup) canning jar, pour all ingredients, one after the other, to create layers.
  2. Write down as instructions : In a large saucepan, combine contents of jar with 2 liters (8 cups) of water* and vegetables (fresh or frozen), if desired. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for about 40 minutes or until legumes and grains are tender. Adjust the seasoning. The next day, add broth if necessary if it is too thick.


*You can add 1 liter (4 cups) of water and a 28 oz can of diced tomatoes with no added salt, especially for the country-style soup.

  1. In a medium saucepan, place apples, water and cranberries, if desired. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 20 minutes or until the fruits flake easily with a fork. Remove from heat.
  3. Using a hand blender, puree until smooth. If you don't have a hand blender, you can use a food processor.

  1. In a saucepan of boiling salted water, cook the pasta al dente.
  2. Meanwhile, spray a skillet with oil spray over medium heat and cook ground turkey for 4 to 5 minutes. Flake the meat with a wooden spoon.
  3. Add remaining ingredients, except green onions and cooked macaroni. Bring to a boil and cook for 6 to 8 minutes.
  4. Drain macaroni, then stir in turkey and vegetable mixture. Mix well.
  5. Sprinkle with green onions just before serving.
